Now a favourite with TBE English Mustard Very strong traditional English mustard, spread thinly on beef or ham Horseradish Sauce Horseradish is a plant with a pungent root, grated to make this sauce. The sauce is a traditional accompaniment to beef and smoked fish and it is very strong, so must be used sparingly. Indian Chutney This is made from a secret, apple based, home made recipe exclusive to Philpotts. It is medium to strong in spiciness, and its sweet flavour makes it an excellent accompaniment to Chicken Coronation and all cheeses. Philpotts Mustard Sauce Philpotts own recipe of mayonnaise, mustard, turmeric and salad cream. Served with Pastrami, it is also excellent with Salami and Black Pudding Prawn Cocktail or Marie Rose Sauce A traditional Scottish accompaniment to prawns and other seafood made with mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, fresh lemon, horseradish and Worcester Sauce. Stuffing We follow a traditional recipe with sage and onion and make our stuffing on the premises French Dressing Olive Oil and vinegar with salt and pepper, a little mustard and fresh lemon juice |
